Kathryn wrote the monologue for episode 18.

She is one of the three commissioned playwrights on the Old Vic 12 where she was commissioned to write Exceptional Mercy  which explores care, friendship, injustice in institutions and focusses on the treatment of disabled prisoners.

Her first play Whiskey Tango Foxtrot marked her debut play as a solo writer/performer. She was supported by Arts Council England to develop the play which is now published by Oberon Books. Her autobiographical play explores sexual harassment, inequality and injustice in military institutions. Rebecca recently won ‘Performer of the Year’ at the Devon Performance Awards for Whiskey Tango Foxtrot and the show was shortlisted for a Liberty Human Rights Arts Award 2016. The show premiered on 42nd Street at the New York United Solo Festival in November 2016. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot was nominated for Best New Play, Best New Production, Best Director and Best Actress in the 2015 Broadway World Awards and shortlisted for the Brighton Fringe Audience Choice Award.
